Shaping the Future of Golf as a Community Destination for Generations to Come.
South Ayrshire Council is undertaking a comprehensive review of Belleisle Golf Course, exploring how to create a modern, inclusive, and sustainable facility. Our vision is to protect, enhance and grow golf in South Ayrshire for generations to come.
How will the works progress?
We’re currently looking at a 3 phased approach, aiming to keep the course playable for the duration of the works. While the exact timings of the programme are still to be defined, these phases might looks something like this:
Phase 1
Bunkers, irrigation and other course maintenance and improvements would be carried out first. Aspiration to keep the course playable throughout this programme, and any player-impact will be well communicated beforehand.
Phase 2
Work on the clubhouse would commence after the course works are completed – aiming to create a welcoming and inclusive environment to players and non-players alike.
Phase 3
The covered GolfPod setup would be shape the final part of the project. This is due to some practical construction work implementations as well as making sure that the most vital improvements are being tackled first.
